During School

Every week on Tuesday from 7pm to 8:30 pm at Grace Community Church off Rt. 29 near GE (5146 Dickerson Rd.. Charlottesville, Va 22911). Attire for meetings is full uniform (shirt, pants/belt, neckerchief, socks, hat).

During Summer

Every week (except when troop in on a trip) on Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30 pm at a location such as Sutherland Middle School/Hollymead (2801 Powell Creek Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22911) or Grace United Methodist Church (above) or another predetermined location. Attire is troop t-shirt.

School Closed - Meeting Cancelled

If Albemarle County schools are closed due to inclement weather, the troop meeting is cancelled. Refer to the troop calendar to see if the troop is meeting during teacher workdays or school holidays.

Shakedowns

In preparation for camping trips, an equipment check (referred to as a shakedown) is held typically during the troop meeting the Tuesday immediately before the trip. Each Scout should bring his packed gear to the shakedown. Packing lists can be found in the troop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Patrol Meetings

Some patrols may decide to have additional meetings to build patrol spirit, work on a specific project, or conduct service projects. Meeting days and times are determined by the patrol leader and patrol members.

PLC Meetings

The Patrol Leader Council of elected and appointed boy leaders meet with the Scoutmaster and/or Assistant Scoutmasters on the third Monday of each month at the regular meeting place at 7pm to determine the program for the following month.

Committee Meetings

The Committee Chair holds planning meetings with the Committee Members and Scoutmaster on the second Monday of each month at Grace U.M. Church at 7 pm. to ensure the troop has the resources and support it needs.

ASM Meetings

The Scoutmaster holds planning meetings with the Assistant Scoutmasters on the fourth Monday of each month to ensure that the troop has the resources and support it needs.
