The Boy Scout program is a big change from Cub Scouting; the biggest difference being that it is boy led instead of adult led. Adults monitor and coach the boys, enabling them to lead and follow without constant oversight. Boy Scouting has high standards for leadership and behavior and BSA builds character, citizenship and develops personal fitness. Boys are continuously working toward advancing from their current rank to the next rank and ultimately building their foundation for reaching the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
